Britannia Business Services is a partnership and is a small business set up and run specifically to help other small businesses. For most self-employed people taxation and accounting can be both a distraction and an area of high cost for seemingly little return. At Britannia we aim to bring a professional service to clients at a cost properly geared to the size of their business.
The partners at Britannia both have a long background in financial services and extensive experience in customer service. We are therefore used to presenting specialist technical matters to people in straightforward ways free of technical jargon.
Shirley Winch AICB CB Cert
Shirley worked as office manager for a well-established independent insurance broker. She subsequently developed her career in the financial services industry and was district manager in charge of five branches with a major high street bank.
Shirley is a qualified bookkeeper and is trained in computer bookkeeping.
Shirley is an active member of Hastings Rotary Club and the Rye Chamber of Commerce.
Stuart Morris FCIB AFA FICB FFTA MCMI
Stuart gained wide ranging financial experience working for over 20 years at senior management level in the financial services industry. In 1996 Stuart formed his own consultancy, Stuart Morris Associates, which undertook work for several major financial institutions.
Stuart is an Incorporated Financial Accountant, a Certified Bookkeeper and a Fellow of the Federation of Tax Advisers. He is also a director and treasurer of a well-established local charity.
